About the event
PlayWell Productions presents a work-in-progress sharing of WITH COURAGE - a new musical being written in celebration and commemoration of the 200th Anniversary of the RNLI. The past and present intertwine in this new folk musical telling tales of bravery, love and sacrifice.
Featuring Jonathan Charles (The Curious Case of Benjamin Button; The Wicker Husband), Philippa Hogg (The Curious Case of Benjamin Button; The Jungle Book), Hanora Kamen (Brief Encounter; 5 Children & IT; Hijack), and Dyd Wynford (Fat Tongue; Everybody's Talking About Jamie).
Written by Jon Hare (Charming; The First Chris Moose), and directed by award-winning director Charlotte Westenra (Agreement; The Wicker Husband), the show is being developed with the intention of touring to communities and venues around the South Coast during 2024-25.
To prevent price being a barrier to attending this event, it is ticketed on a Pay What You Feel basis - you can adjust the amount you would like to pay at booking. Please note your ticket contribution will go towards helping us to bring this musical to full production in 2024-25.
